About ClubRun
Board of Directors
ClubRun is a non-profit corporation managed by a Board of Directors. ClubRun members elect Directors annually in October or November of each year. The Board includes the ClubRun Officers - President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary - and sets the overall direction and budget for ClubRun.
ClubRun Activities
ClubRun is really all about having fun running with friends and quality training programs. The activities of the Club take place as a result of the hardwork of member volunteers and coaches. The ClubRun Operations Committee, chaired by the ClubRun President, is in charge of coordinating all that we do. Members include:
- Program Director - responsible for training and coaching programs, community outreach and development
- Social Coordinator - responsible for all non-running activities of the club
- Administrative Coordinator - responsible for handling all ClubRun inquiries and maintaining membership records
- Welcome Coordinator - responsible for welcoming new members and providing orientation
- Saturday Run Coordinators - responsible for providing route, pace, and distance information for Saturday runs
- Water Stop Coordinator - responsible for providing water support on desiganted long runs
- Expo Coordinator - responsible for managing all ClubRun expo actitiviy
Higlights of ClubRun's training, outreach, and social activities include:
- Training classes for all ages and abilities at distances from one mile to the marathon
- Coaching development programs
- Social activities including, weekly social night outs, breakfasts, and special events such as breakfast potlucks, wine tasting, pub crawls, golf tournaments, bowling nights, and more
- Kid's programs, including special Running Camps for kids and the Kenwood Park Track Team
Where and When We Run
ClubRun is based at Kenwood Park Center, 2101 W. Franklin Ave. in Minneapolis, near the north end of Lake of the Isles. Our runs take us from Kenwood all over the Twin Cities, making use of the many trails and bike paths as well as the nearby lakes.
Group runs take place every weeknight except Friday at 6 p.m. Our Saturday morning runs are at 7 a.m. for distances of 10 or ore miles and 8 a.m. for shorter distances.
ClubRun Membership 2010
ClubRun offers several membership options to provide the flexibility to meet your needs. With our emphasis on training, every option includes participation in weekly workouts and long runs. Whether you are a casual runner looking for occasional group runs, interested in structured training, or preparing for a specific race, we have an option to meet your needs. Membership Options
Drop In Pass
Perfect for those looking for a group to run with occasionally, this is the ClubRun general membership category. Drop In any class, and day of the week.
- $30 - 30 visits
- $50 - 60 visits
Intermediate Workout Pass
Intermediate workouts at two levels - 5K-10K and half-marathon are provided on a continuous basis from January through November. Coaches lead workouts on Tuesday and Thursday.

- $80 - Three Months
- $150 - Six Months
- $175 - Nine Months
All Class Pass
Perfect for those looking to tun all year long, lets you do anything and everything.

New Runner Training Class
Especially for runners just getting started, the class is an 8 week session that meets on Tuesday and Thursday at 6 p.m.

Marathon Training Class
Open to all abilities, first timers and veterans. Class is divided into pace groups. Runners should have a base of 25 - 30 miles per week before joining the class. Sixteen week sessions feature workouts on Monday and Wednesday with Saturday supported long runs.

- $80 second session same year
Upgrade Option
Not sure what your plans are for 2010? start with a $30 Drop in Pass or $30 One Month Intermediate Pass. All members are entitled to one Upgrade per year. The Upgrade Option is great forthose wanting to get a jump on building up their base for marathon training too.
