Join us for the Second Annual Drumstick Dash on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, 2008. Combine food and fun in support of Kenwood Kids Running Programs, ClubRun's youth program offered in partnership with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board.

  • 10K USATF certified course using two loops around Lake Harriet
  • ChampionChip timing
  • Start time 8:00 a.m. near Lake Harriet Bandshell
  • Entry Fees: $25 in advance - $30 Race Day
  • ClubRun Members pay $20 in advance - $30 Race Day

Drumstick Dash Training Class $60/$35 ClubRun Members

Training Class Details:

  • Session Dates: Oct. 7th - Nov. 20
  • Meets Tuesday and Thursday at 6 p.m.
  • Location is Kenwood Park Center, 2101 W. Franklin Ave., Minneapolis
  • Fee Includes 2009 ClubRun Membership

Class is designed for all ages and abilities. Participants should be able to complete 3 miles comfortably. The goal is to get you comfortable at the 6.2 mile distance. Workouts will build strength and speed.

Class meets twice a week with a coach for group workouts. Written workout calendars covering each day of the session are provided. Typical training pace is 7-12 minutes/mile.

To register for the Drumstick Dash Training class print the mail in registration form and mail it in to the address on the form. You may also register in person on the first night of class. Registration will be available 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the class.
